Ann Lee Randolph Peterson, 71, of Virginia Beach, died Aug. 18, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Peterson was a native of Braehome, W.Va. She was the widow of Cmdr. John Edward Peterson, U.S. Navy retired. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Peterson was a member of the Myrtice Parker Bible Class, a charter member of the Sun Rise Circle of the King's Daughter, a member of the North Virginia Beach Civic League. Mrs. Peterson was also a volunteer with the Reach for Recovery program, Virginia Beach General Hospital and Sevamp Senior Services.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandra L. Thomas and her husband, Norman A. Thomas of Norfolk; one son, Samuel L. Peterson of Virginia Beach; one sister, Betty Randolph Smith of Ridgefield, Conn.; one brother, Edmund William Randolph III of Garden City, S.C.; and two grandchildren, Wesley A. Thomas and K. Paige Thomas, both of Norfolk.
A church service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21, 1995, at First Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach by Dr. J. Scottie Griffin. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation in the funeral home this evening from 5 to 7 p.m. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, are handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Myrtice Parker Bible Class, c/o First Presbyterian Church of Virginia Beach.
