Theodore J. Podolsky, 81, of the 1400 block of Five Forks Road, joined his Savior Jesus Christ, and was reunited with his wife Martha D. Podolsky on August 13, 1995.
Mr. Podolsky was born in 1914 in Lansford, Pa. He was the son of the late Theodore and Helen Podolsky. Mr. Podolsky was preceded in death by his daughter, Dolores L. Hunsicker. He had served for 35 years with the United States Army, First Division Field Artillery Unit in both World War II and the Korean War. He also served as a professor of Military Science at Leighigh University in Bethelem, Pa.
Survivors include two daughters, Theodora Thomas, Martha Gnilka; a son, Michael J. Podolsky, all of Virginia Beach; and ten grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 24, 1995, at the Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel at Independence Blvd. and Shore Drive, by Father John J. Morris. Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Association.
