MARK M. LYNN

Mark Michael Lynn, 72, of the 600 block of Whitechapel Drive, died Aug. 18, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

Mr. Lynn, the widower of Dorothy Lillian Lynn, was born in Helvetia, Pa. He retired after 22 years of service from Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a marine machinist shop (NU)38. He also retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, and the Moose Lodge (NU)898, Fleet Reserve Association Branch (NU)40, and V.F.W. Post (NU)993. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Lynn Cruze of Virginia Beach; three sons, Bert Anthony Lynn of Virginia Beach, Mark E. Mott-Lynn of Berlin, Md., and Terry Michael Lynn of Haynes, Alaska; two sisters, Elizabeth Colligan of Avon Lake, Ohio, and JoAnne Iuni of Leewood, Kan.; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son, Robert M. Lynn.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21, 1995, in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, by Father James E. Dorson. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
