Four calculus students at Manteo High School obtained perfect scores on the Advanced Placement Calculus BC exam.
Daniel Diehl, Tad Dreis, Kevin Fischer and Keven Snyder - students of teacher Frank Vrablic - all scored a perfect 5 on the test. Their performance makes them eligible to be placed in third-semester calculus at their respective universities and to receive eight semester hours of college credit.
This was the first year any Manteo High students took the exam. by CNB
