A teenage boy was arrested Sunday in connection with the shooting of three teenagers who were attending a party Friday night.
The name of the suspect was not released because of his age. Police also refused to release the names of the victims.
The suspect faces three counts of maiming, two counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling, five counts of using a gun while committing a felony, a single charge of being a juvenile in possession of a firearm and a single count of brandishing a firearm.
The three teenagers were attending a party at an apartment in the 400 block of Denbigh Blvd. when an assailant opened fire through a window about 11:50 p.m. Friday.
Police said the suspect had earlier had an argument with someone he believed was at the party. It was unclear Sunday whether the intended victim was among those who were shot.
A 15-year-old boy remained in critical condition Sunday at Riverside Regional Medical Center with a chest wound; a 17-year-old man, who also was shot in the chest, was listed in serious condition at Riverside; a 19-year-old woman was listed in stable condition Sunday at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with a neck wound.
