James Godfrey Rippard, 78, of the 900 block of Park Ave., died Aug. 21, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Rippard, a retired bookkeeper, was born in South Norfolk. Survivors include, three sisters, Miss Isabel Rippard of Chesapeake, Mrs. Esther Rippard Bradshaw of Virginia Beach, and Mrs. Helen Rippard White of Baltimore, Md.; one nephew, David Rippard of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will by conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by Richard Todd. The family will be at Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, Chesapeake, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
