Thurston Luttrell Gray ``Buddy'' Jr., 32, of the 2500 block of Bird Lane, died Sunday, Aug. 20, 1995, in Newport News, Va.
He was employed with SMS Mechanical as a mechanic. He was the son of the late Thurston Sr. and Iva Payne Gray.
Survivors include his son, Brandon James Gray; one sister, Rebecca A. Parks; and three brothers, Dalton L. Gray, Carroll W. Gray and Bruce L. Gray, all of Portsmouth.
A funeral service will be held in the Shiloh United Methodist Church, Stumpy Point, N.C., Wednesday, Aug. 23, 1995, at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake, Va. Mr. Gray will be placed in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Wednesday at 10 a.m. preceding the service.
