Robert Lee Myrick, 62, of 7144 Harvest Drive, died Aug. 18, 1995, in Obici Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
He was a native of Hertford County, N.C., and was retired from Tidewater Construction. He was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Chruch. Mr. Myrick was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Eldora Vann Myrick.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Myrick; two sons, Floyd Myrick of Franklin, Va., and Herbert Dixon of Malden, Mass.; three daughters, Evelyn Myrick and Gloria Myrick of Suffolk, and Sandra Walden of Franklin; one brother, Floyd Myrick of Suffolk; three sisters, Alease Beale of Suffolk, Helen Myrick of Waterbury, Conn., and Ruth Blizzard of Suffolk; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, 1995, in Mt. Sinai Baptist Church by the Rev. Joseph Goode. The body will be placed in the church at 11:30 a.m. Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
