Isiah Speller, 56, of Punta-Aguda (NU)6, died Aug. 17, 1995, as a result of an automobile accident.
He was a native of Norfolk, and the son of John R. and Roxanne Speller. He was a property group for The Parkington Group.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Speller of the home; seven daughters, Debra R. Speller, Pamela Speller, Angela Speller, Laurie Speller, Betty Speller, Joyce Webb, and Tanya White; five sons, Isiah Speller Jr., Andre D. Speller, Eric Speller-Clark, James White, Christoper White; four sisters, Esther L. Holloway, Roxanne Longshore, both of Chesapeake, Pauline Hunt of Portsmouth, and Rosa Tynes of New York; two brothers, Rev. J.C. Speller Sr. of Chesapeake, and David Speller of Chesapeake; and 12 grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Riddick Funeral Service, 1225 Norview Ave., by Dr. John Veal. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be at 318 Hinton St., Chesapeake, at the home of the Rev. J.C. Speller Sr. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
