Napoleon Bonaparte Yarn Sr., 67, of 1065 Norwich Ave. died Aug. 21, 1995, in Richmond, Va.
Mr. Yarn was a retired superintendent of Union Brick where he worked for 36 years. He had been retired for 5 years. He was born in Greenville, S.C., and was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Norfolk.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Yarn; two daughters, Willi Cook of Atlanta, Ga. and Avis Elam of Chase City, Va.; five sons, Anthony and Darryl of Virginia Beach; Melvin of Decatur, Napoleon Jr. of Atlanta, and Wayne of Macon, Ga.; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be noon Saturday in Covenant Presbyterian Church, Norfolk. Burial is in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. A Wake is to be held Friday, Aug. 25, 1995, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hale Funeral Chapel.
