Peggy A. Batts, 43, of the 3400 block of Bainbridge Blvd., died Aug. 23, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Batts was born in South Norfolk and was a member of Gateway Freewill Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny F. Batts; one daughter, Julie Batts of Chesapeake, one son, John Batts of Chesapeake; her mother, Ruth Newberry Fitzpatrick of Chesapeake; three sisters, Judy Martin and Joyce Peterson, both of Chesapeake, and Carolyn Johnson of Manchester, Conn.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Dale Burden. The family will be at 601 Rutherford Drive, Chesapeake. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, in charge.
