Police are searching for a man accused of raping a woman who was sitting in front of a Laskin Road fast-food store Monday morning.
Police said the man approached the woman at the Hardee's restaurant in the 900 block of Laskin Road about 4 a.m. After talking to her a few moments, he tried to grab a bag she was carrying.
She fought back, but he forced her behind a nearby business and raped her.
The man is black, about 30, 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. He has short hair.
Police ask anyone with information to call 427-0000.
