Vanda Saunders Sigsby, 88, of the 700 block of Woodstock Rd., died Thursday, Aug. 24, 1995, at her residence.
Mrs. Sigsby was a homemaker and a Methodist. She was the daughter of the late Will C. and Della M. Saunders.
Survivors include a daughter, Delores Isenhour, and son-in-law, Thomas Isenhour Sr. of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Virgie S. Sobel of Vista, Calif., Lucetta S. Minton of Norfolk, and Madge S. Frye of Chesapeake; one brother, Gus Saunders of Wanchese, N.C.; three grandchildren, Thomas H. and wife, Teresa Isenhour Jr. of Virginia Beach, Charles Isenhour of Chesapeake, Elizabeth Elliot and her husband, Federick Elliot of Gainsville, Va.; two great-grandchildren, Kallie Isenhour and Zackery Isenhour, of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, Aug. 27, 1995, at 2 p.m. in Cudworth Cemetery, Wanchese, N.C., with the Rev. Charles Etheridge officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at Twiford Colony Chapel in Manteo. Arrangements are being handled by Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake.
