Petty Officer First Class Andrea Jean ``Andi'' Burris Ferguson, age 33, of the 1800 block of Hauiland Dr., a native and former resident of Mt. Pleasant, N.C., died Aug. 21, 1995.
She was born Feb. 22, 1962, in Concord, N.C., and was the daughter of Donald and Glenda Gilmore Burris of Mt. Pleasant, N.C. She was a 1980 Mt. Pleasant High School graduate.
Besides her parents, she is survived by one daughter, Miss Kathy Ferguson of Mt. Pleasant, N.C.; one sister, Mrs. Donna B. Deal of Concord, N.C.; grandparents, Mrs. Virginia Burris, Don and Alma Phillips, all of Mt. Pleasant, N.C.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Gordon Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant, N.C., with the Rev. Donald Deal officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CVAN, P.O. Box 1749, Concord, N.C. 28026, or to children charities of the donor's choice. Twiford's Funeral Home, Ghent Chapel, 1920 Colley Ave., Norfolk, was in charge of all local arrangements.
