JACQUELINE W. REYNOLDS

Jacqueline Adele Woodall Reynolds, 71, of the 400 block of Burleigh Ave., died in her residence Wednesday, Aug. 23, 1995.

She was born in Erie, Pa., Nov. 19, 1923. Jacqueline was the daughter of the late James Henry and Adella Metzger Woodall and the widow of Gerald Anthony Reynolds. She was a native of Erie, Pa. She moved to Norfolk two years ago from Greenville, N.C. Mrs. Reynolds attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, and earned a pilot's license as a young woman. She was a USMC veteran of World War II and a homemaker, she was a painter and an avid bridge player, but devoted most of her love and energy to her children and grandchildren, who will cherish her memory forever.

She is survived by two daughters, Tina Trogdon and son-in-law, Dr. Sidney Trogdon of Norfolk, Lisa Reynolds and her fiance, J.B. Davis, of Benicia, Calif.; one son, James Christopher ``Chris'' Reynolds and daughter-in-law, JoAnn Reynolds, of Poway, Calif.; two sisters, Joan Middleton and her husband, William Middleton, of Erie, Pa., Ruth Kling and her husband, Evald Kling, of Bradenton, Fla.; four grandchildren, Abigail, Rex, Ian, and Erik. She is also survived by a host of other family and friends that will miss her greatly, and most of all, a special member of the Reynolds family, ``Dudley.''

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Aug. 27, 1995, at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Twiford's Funeral Home, with Rex Trogdon officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after the memorial service, and at other times at the residence of the daughter in the 500 block of Brackenridge Ave., Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Wish Fund International, P.O. Box 130819, Houston, Texas 77219-0891. Twiford's Funeral Home, Ghent Chapel, 1920 Colley Ave., Norfolk, is in charge of arrangements.
