Joseph Anthony Nespoli, 69, of the 5200 block of High St. West, died Aug. 26, 1995 in Norfolk.
Mr. Nespoli, a native of Portsmouth, was retired after 30 years from Texaco as a Maintenance Supervisor, and was the owner of J.A. Nespoli-Electrical Contractor. He was a member of Elks Lodge 82, Son's of Italy and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Conchita Yanes Nespoli; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amelia Nespoli Hopkins and Roger L. Hopkins of Richmond, Eleanor Nespoli Wallace and Ben J. Wallace of Chesapeake; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph N. Nespoli and Susan R. Nespoli of Portsmouth; five grandchildren, Michael A. Hopkins, Amanda Lee Hopkins, Amelia Mary Wallace, Elizabeth Sargeant Wallace and Lauren Rhodes Nespoli. He was predeceased by his brother, Nicholas Vincent Nespoli.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Simonsdale Presbyterian Church by Dr. Herbert F. Carter. The family will receive friends at Foster Funeral Home on Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Sentara Renal Transplant Emergency Fund, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, 600 Gresham Drive, Norfolk, Va. 23507.
