Helen Massler Gambos, 75, of the 4300 block of Sea Chest Road, died Aug. 25, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Gambos, a retired executive secretary/assistant personnel manager, worked for Sears in Norfolk. She was born in Weirton, W.Va., and was a member of Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel, Catholic. She was a member of Little Creek Catholic Ladies Altar Guild, Little Creek Eagle Haven Ladies Golf Association, and 10-year volunteer for the American Red Cross at the Boone Clinic.
Survivors include her husband, John Gambos; one daughter, Anita L. Gambos of Philadelphia, Pa.; one son, John M. and his wife, Rejeanne Gambos, of Montreal, Canada; and one grandson, Mathieu Gambos of Montreal, Canada.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Arlington National Cemetery. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, in charge.
