Annie Ellis Griffin, 80, formerly of Chesapeake, died Aug. 26, 1995, in Colonial Heights, Va.
She was a native of Blackstone, Va., and was the widow of Henry Phillips Griffin Sr. She was a member of Deep Creek United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Victory Chapter (NU)22.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Jean Norwood and William of Colonial Heights, and Janette Wilcox and Robert of Colonial Heights; one son and his wife, Henry P. ``Phil'' Griffin Jr. and Nancy of Richmond; eight grandchildren, Chad and Marci Griffin, Shawn Dillow, Kelly Cooper, Stephen Wilcox and Kimberly Hall; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, by Dr. Roscoe A. Musselwhite. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 4 to 6 p.m.
