Charles Bleiler, 78, of the 1000 block of Carolina Road, a retired vending manager, died Aug. 26, 1995, in Suffolk.
Mr. Bleiler was born in Hudson, N.Y., and was Methodist. He was retired from Allegheny Pepsi-Cola Co. after 32 years. He was a member of the Monday Morning Bowling League and Tuesday Night Suffolk Bowling League, both at Victory Lanes. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Channel Bleiler; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard W. Bleiler and Jane of Suffolk and Bobby Bleiler and Janet of Suffolk; and grandchildren, Paula S. Bleiler of Virginia Beach, Amber M. Bleiler and Brandon K. Cortez, both of Suffolk. He was predeceased by mother, Freda Shaver Bleiler Smith and father, Charles Bleiler.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Chapel by the Rev. Ronald R. Rice, followed by entombment. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Hill Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
