Some errors in back-to-school information appeared in the Sunday
edition of The Beacon. The correct information follows.
The phone number for NavCare, Little Creek is 583-3248.
The address of the Literacy Center is 525 Kempsville Road and the
Adult Learning Center is 3352 Virginia Beach Blvd. Also, the former
Vocational-Technical Educational Center now is called the Technical
and Career Center.
Hours for registration will vary from school to school.
Children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 30, 1995, to
enter kindergarten this school year.
The first day of school is Sept. 5; it was listed as Sept. 7 in
two sub-sections.
Also, for clarification:
Under medication policy, students are not allowed to transport
medication to school by themselves.
