Herbert N. Haddock, age 74, of 310 Watson Drive, died Monday, Aug. 28, 1995, in Portsmouth Naval Medical Center.
He was a native of Jones County, N.C., and retired from the U.S. Navy with 20 years of service. He was a member of the Chapel of Good Shepherd, NAS-Oceana.
He is survived by his wife, Theldine Baldwin Haddock; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy H. and Danny L. Walls of Smithfield, and Beverly Haddock and Edwin Whitemore of Marion, Va.; two sisters; and two grandsons, David M. Walls and Daryl T. Walls.
Mr. Haddock will be accorded a military graveside burial at Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, Aug. 31, 1995, at 10 a.m. with the Naval Chaplain officiating. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, and suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, Virginia Chapter, Box 21, 2101 Executive Drive, Hampton, Va. 23666.
