Mary Alice Jones, 56, of 1035 Tazewell St., died Aug. 28, 1995, in her residence.
She was a member of Little Grove Baptist Church, Suffolk. She was predeceased by one son, Frederick Jones.
She is survived by her mother, Mary E. Walker of Norfolk, and her stepfather, Oscar Walker of Norfolk; two sisters, Shirley Jones of Portsmouth, and Bessie R. Roger of Hampton; one brother, Thomas L. Barrow of Hampton; one aunt, Lena Ward of Portsmouth; and one uncle, Willis Harris of Boston, Mass.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Little Grove Baptist Church, Suffolk, by the Rev. Ralph Richardson. Burial is in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at 405 Bunche Blvd. and assemble there for the procession. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
