CRIME REPORT

DISTRICT A

Petty larceny, Sleepy Hole Park, Aug. 12, someone took a Bravo Plus pager valued at $60 from a picnic table.

Breaking and entering, 5500 block Oriole Road, Aug. 14, someone entered a residence by breaking a garage window. Two video tapes were removed from the hall closet.

Grand larceny, 3800 block Pughsville Road, Aug. 16, someone entered a vehicle through the driver's side window and removed a Stihl 14-inch gas cut-off.

DISTRICT B

Breaking and entering, 800 block Audubon Road, Aug. 15, someone entered a trailer by breaking out a window. Nothing was reported missing.

DISTRICT C

Breaking and entering, 600 block Battery Avenue, Aug. 12, someone kicked in a rear door and entered a house. He fled when he saw the occupant calling police.

Breaking and entering, 467 South Wellons St., Aug. 13, between Aug. 9-13, someone entered a church by prying open a window. An amplifier valued at $350 and a microphone valued at $100 were removed.

Lost/stolen, 2300 block Godwin Boulevard, Aug. 14, a dealer tag was reported stolen or lost.

Throwing missiles, 600 block Dumville Avenue, Aug. 15, someone broke out the front storm window and threw eggs at a residence.

Petty larceny, Wellons and Wilson Street, Aug. 15, someone removed a burgundy, 15-speed boy's Murry 26-inch bicycle.

Petty larceny, 300 Brook Avenue, Aug. 15, someone entered a vehicle between Aug. 11-15 and removed a gray Motorola DPC 550 portable telephone and a Motorola cigarette lighter adaptor power pack.

Petty larceny, 300 block South Saratoga Street, Aug. 16, someone removed a Virginia state inspection sticker and Suffolk city decal from a vehicle.

Grand larceny, 500 block Pitchkettle Road, Aug. 16, someone removed a Fedders 3000 BTU air conditioning unit from the front window of a residence. The suspects were spotted and fled in a black and gray GMC pickup truck.

DISTRICT D

Petty larceny, 1200 David Lane, Aug. 12, someone removed a red and black, 16-inch Murray boy's bicycle from the front yard of a residence.

Breaking and entering, 100 block North Capitol Street, Aug. 12, someone entered a residence and removed a VCR. The owner advised that when she left the house, both door were locked. However, upon return she discovered that the front door was pulled to but not secured, and that the back door was open.

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle, 100 block North Capitol Street, Aug. 12, someone used a maroon, 4-door 87 Chevrolet without permission.

Breaking and entering, 2400 East Washington Street, Aug. 13, someone broke out a window to enter a store. A Royal cash register containing approximately $300 was removed.

Petty larceny, 400 block Carolina Road, Aug. 15, someone pumped $11.13 worth of gas and left the station without paying.

Lost/stolen, 300 block Highland Avenue, Aug. 15, someone reported that his license tag has been lost or stolen.

Armed robbery, 1500 block Freeney Avenue, Aug. 15, a man and woman were in a residence when a man entered, produced a gun and demanded money. Both produced cash and the man left the residence. About $350 was taken.
