Suffolk detectives ask your help in finding the persons who took

a large amount of silver, and jewelry Aug. 2, in the 7000 block of

South Quay Road.

Items included a sterling coffee pot and tea pot; a sugar and

creamer service; a silver bell; a 10-inch silver bowl and silver

knives, forks, spoons and pie knife.

Jewelry taken consisted of a gold bracelet and necklace and

miscellaneous costume jewelry.

If you have any information concerning this burglary or the

whereabouts of any of the stolen items, call Suffolk Crime Line at

539-1222.

Suffolk police also need your assistance to find the person

responsible for running into a pedestrian, and you can earn a reward

if you help make an arrest.

On July 5, at about 1 a.m., 36-year-old Sharon Wilkins was

walking at Hunter and Webb Streets when she was struck from behind

by an unknown vehicle and knocked into a ditch. She received a

broken right leg and bruises.

If you have information concerning this hit-and-run incident,

call Suffolk Crime Line at 539-1222. If it leads to an arrest, you

may receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.

When calling Crime Line, you do not have to give your name. Nor

must you testify in court on the information you provide.
