Strong-arm robbery, 3700 block of Indian River Road. The victim was approached by suspects who demanded money. When he replied that he had no money, one suspect grabbed the victim's pager and fled. Description of suspects: No. 1, black male, late teens, 5-feet-8-inches, heavy build, wore a blue shirt and dark shorts. No. 2, black male, late teens, 6-feet-3-inches, medium build, wore black shorts, no shirt and a large tattoo on his right arm.
Armed robbery, 1900 block of S. Military Highway. The victim was entering her vehicle when a black male suspect placed a handgun against her back. Then he got into her vehicle and demanded that she drive around the plaza. After He took her jewelry, wallet and shoes, the suspect struck the victim on the head. Aug. 13.
