Doris Fay Holder, 58, formerly of the 4000 block of Wyndybrow Drive, died Aug. 31, 1995.
She was a native of Chesapeake and a retired General Electric supervisor.
Survivors include her father, Tullie Layden, of Elizabeth City; three daughters, Dolores ``Vickey'' Beasley of Portsmouth, Patricia Hall of Richmond, Cindy Medlin of Mechanicsville, Va.; two sisters, Barbara L. Hunt and Katherine Brickhouse, both of Portsmouth; two brothers, Roy L. Layden of Virginia Beach, Johnny Layden of Winchester, Va.; and six grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, by Dr. Ray O. Jones. The family will receive friends at the Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today, and at other times at 23 Harvard Road, Portsmouth.
