Dixon Raymond ``Pie Man'' King Jr., 58, died Aug. 31, 1995, in his home.
He was a native of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and was employed at Flowers Bakery. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn H. King; three daughters, Susie King of Virginia Beach, Nina Trice of Portsmouth, Mindie Morgan of Virginia Beach; one son, Jason King of Portsmouth; one step-son, Jamey Jones of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Rae Knapic of Rittman, Ohio, and Shirley White of Stowe, Ohio; one brother, Kenneth King of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Chris S. Simons. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
