Bobby Robertson Hedgepeth III, 16-day-old son of Bobby Robertson Hedgepeth Jr. and Joyce Goin Hedgepeth, of the 2200 block of South Military Highway, Chesapeake, died in the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters on Aug. 28, 1995. He was born on Aug. 12, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a stepsister, Angela Brigman of Chesapeake; paternal grandparents, Bobby Robertson Hedgepeth Sr. and Linda Newman Hedgepeth of Portsmouth; maternal grandmother, Beulah Shiflett Goin of Chesapeake; paternal great-grandmothers, Minnie Robey of Portmsouth and Frances Hedgepeth of Virginia Beach; and a number of aunts and uncles.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, Aug. 29, 1995, at 4 p.m. in the Milwaukee Cemetery, Milwaukee, N.C., with the Rev. John Bowman officiating. Twiford's Funeral Home, Ghent Chapel, Norfolk, was in charge of arrangements.
