Harold Junius Rust Sr., 74, of the 300 block of Haledon Road, died Sept. 1, 1995.
He was born in Norfolk and was the retired owner of Harold J. Rust Plumbing and Heating. He was Presbyterian.
He is survived by a host of loving family and friends, including his wife, Frances M. Rust; one daughter, JoAnne R. Allen of Chesapeake; one son, Teddy M. Rust of Chesapeake; two sisters, Dot Dushlek and Evelyn Tise, both of Chesapeake; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, H.J. Rust Jr.; a grandson, Troy Rust; and a sister, Jane R. Morris.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Sam Austin. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will be at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m.
