ROBERT C. NARRON

Robert Christopher Narron, 71, of the 4800 block of Westgrove Road, died Sept. 1, 1995, in Chesapeake.

He was a native of Wilson County, N.C., and was retired from the civil service. He was a member of Denbigh Church of God in Newport News, and was active in the Aragona Pembroke Little League and the Boy Scouts. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Velma R. Narron of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Pamela J. Insley of Yorktown, Va., and Terri K. Pettway of Chesapeake; two sons, Andrew P. Narron of Chesapeake and Gregory D. Narron of Onancock, Va.; one sister, Rachel Sccicchano of Middlesex, N.C.; three brothers, Roland Narron of Rocky Mount, N.C., Curtis and Raymond Narron, both of Middlesex; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Davis Corner Rescue Squad.
