Estelle F. Divers, 91, of the 1800 block of Camelot Drive, died Aug. 31, 1995.
She was a retired supervisor at C&P Telephone, where she worked for 40 years. She retired from there in 1963. She was born in Onancock, Va., and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. She was also a member of Communications Workers of America, AFL-CIO, and CLC Retired Members Club. She was the widow of George G. Divers.
She is survived by one daughter, Sonora Beacham of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Mary Anne Britts of Lexington, S.C., and Vernon V. Beacham II of Pembroke, Va.; and three great-grandchildren, Melissa Britts, Janna Britts and Lynnette Britts, all of Lexington, S.C.
A graveside service was conducted 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Larry Lenow in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, handled arrangements.
