Faline L. Colden of the 600 block of Jefferson St., died Sept. 2, 1995, in her home.
Mrs. Colden was born in Portsmouth and attended Calvary Evangelical Church.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd E. Colden; three daughters, Floreshia E. Colden, Flolephia L. Colden and Felecia M. Colden; two sons, Marcus E. Colden and Maurice J. Colden; her mother, Merion W. Grant; and her father, Hugo Grant Sr., all of Portsmouth; six sisters, Paulette F. Grant of Suffolk, Angelo Hicks of Panama, Cynthia Grant, Marjorie Grant, Cecelia Grant and Unquie Grant, all of Portsmouth; four brothers, Hugo Grant Jr., Clifton Kenny Grant, Junious Wooden, all of Portsmouth, and David Lee Grant of Connecticut; and paternal grandmother, Mary Elizabeth McCoy of Portsmouth; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Corprew Funeral Home by Pastor Allen E. McFarland. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. The family will be at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Grant Sr., 693 Jefferson St., Portsmouth, and will assemble there for the funeral service.
