FLOYD M. MOORE

Floyd M. Moore of the 2400 block of Virginia Beach Blvd., died Sept. 1, 1995.

Mr. Moore was born in Hertford County, N.C., and retired as a general foreman at the Naval Air Station, Alameda, Calif. He was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church, Norfolk, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Yeates Moore; two sisters, Dorothy M. Coefield of Norfolk and Bernetta M. Hall of Long Island, N.Y.; a special nephew, William Moore of Harrellsville, N.C.; two special nieces, Ann Coefield and Faye Coefield, both of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Queen Street Baptist Church by the Rev. Peter Wherry. Burial will be in New Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will assemble at the residence the day of the service. The remains will be placed in church at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
