Lucy Harrell Pierce, 73, of the 1000 block of N.C. 45 North, a homemaker, died Sept. 3, 1995, in her home.
Mrs. Pierce was born in Bertie County, N.C., and was the widow of J.G. Pierce. She was a member of Perrytown Assembly of God Church and was also a member of Women's Ministries.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Gray Pierce Jr. of Colerain and Randy Harrell Pierce of Wilson; two sisters, Sybil Harrell Ellis and Maggie Ray Swanson, both of Norfolk; a brother, Kenneth P. Harrell of Colerain; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. today in Perrytown Assembly of God Church by the Rev. Charles Cookman. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Roanoke Chowan Hospice, P.O. Box 242, Ahoskie, N.C. 27910.
