Ruth White Hollingsworth, 75, died Sept. 2, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Hollingsworth was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Gurnie B. Hollingsworth Jr. She attended Cornerstone Baptist Church and was past president of American Legion Post 327 Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Rebold of Virginia Beach and Leigh Ann Armstrong of Norfolk; two sons, Gurnie B. Hollingsworth III of Virginia Beach and Luther W. Hollingsworth of Lewisburg, W.Va.; a sister, Lucille Franklin of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Cornerstone Baptist Church by the Rev. Fred Braswell. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church. The family will also be at 2440 Woolsey St., Norfolk.
