Violet Bryant Greenlee, 71, of the 300 block of Velva Drive, died Sept. 3, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.
She was born in Chesapeake.
Survivors include her husband, Ewell J. Greenlee Jr.; two daughters, Carol B. Marks of St. Louis, Mo. and Violet Adline Langley of Ayden, N.C.; three sons, Norman L. Greenlee of Suffolk, Richard E. Greenlee and Michael Bryant Greenlee, both of Chesapeake; three sisters, Hilda B. Merrell of Poplar Branch, N.C., Gloria B. Phipps of Chesapeake and Pearl B. Shively of Augusta, Ga.; one brother, Goldie D. Bryant Jr. of Chesapeake; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Riverside Memorial Park by the Rev. Michael Jordan. The family will receive friends at 929 Avalon Ave., Chesapeake. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
