Clara Mae Foster Boggess, 79, of the 3300 block of Marne Ave., died Sept. 3, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Boggess, the widow of Robert O. Boggess, was born in Oakhill, W. Va. She was a member of Fairmont Park Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Sue Boggess of Norfolk, Gay Jean Carter of Virginia Beach; one son, Robert Coupland of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Pauline Biggs of Norfolk, Natilla Smith of Oakhill, W.Va.,Kathleen Dawson of West Virginia, and Dorothy Franklin of Bessemer, Ala.; and five grandchildren, April Boggess, Josh and Jacob Coupland, Gay Lee and Charlie Russell Carter.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
