WILLIAM K. LARKIN

William K. Larkin, 75, of the 1330 block of Oak Ridge Drive, died Monday, Sept. 4, 1995, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Mr. Larkin was born in Boston, Mass., and was the son of the late Kenneth A. and Esther E. Larkin. He retired from the family business of Malden Grinding and Welding Co., Saugus, Mass., of which he was president until 1975. Mr. Larkin was a Navy Seabees veteran of World War II. He was the past president of the Saugus Rotary Club and commander of the Cape Arundel Power Squadron in Kennebunkport, Maine. Other memberships include the Arundel Masonic Lodge (NU)76, A.F. & A.M., Kennebunkport, Maine; the Portland Chapter of the Ancient Accepted Kora Temple AAONWS of Lewiston, Maine, and the York County Shrine Club of York County, Maine.

He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife, Anne L. Larkin; his daughter, Mary A. Larkin; his son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth W. and Beverly Larkin; and his two grandsons, Christopher M. and Tyler M. Larkin, all of Chesapeake; three sisters, Miriam McMullen of Baltimore, Md., June Donovan of Tamworth, N.H., and Gwendolyn Place of Redding, Conn.; two brothers, Glendall Larkin of Lynnfield, Mass., and David Larkin of Ossipee, N.H.

Funeral services will be private. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Peabody, Mass. Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, is handling arrangements.
