Helen J. Wiggins, 71, of 2126 Effingham St., died Sept. 5, 1995.
She worked as an Avon Representative and was a native of Ahoskie, N.C. She was the widow of William S. Wiggins. Mrs. Wiggins was a member of Phillipi Baptist Church, Cofield, N.C., and she fellowshipped at St. John Baptist Church, Portsmouth, Va.
She is survived by one daughter, Treganza Wiggins-Smith of Hampton, Va.; and one son, William Michael Wiggins of Portsmouth.
A service will be conducted 6 p.m. today by the Rev. John Jones in St. John Baptist Church. Burial will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Phillipi Baptist Church Cemetery, Cofield, N.C. Fisher Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Personal photo
