GRACE M. BAKER

Grace Marie Baker, 84, of the first block of Rex Ave., died Sept. 4, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Baker, a retired clerk-typist, worked for Norfolk Naval Shipyard for 23 years. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and was a Lutheran. She was a 50-year member of Victory Chapter (NU)16, Order of the Eastern Star, and member of Ladies of the Shrine.

Survivors include her husband, Charles H. Baker; one grandson, Robert F. Graham Jr. of Kapolei, Hawaii; and one great-granddaughter, Lauren Graham of Kapolei. She was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara B. Graham.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, by the Rev. Julia Dorsey Loomis. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. There will be an Eastern Star Service at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Thursday with a visitation to follow until 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Burn Hospital in Cinncinati, Ohio, or to Eastern Star Home of Virginia, 3000 Chamberlayne Ave., Richmond, Va.
