JAMES V. DONLAN

Senior Chief Petty Officer James Vincent Donlan, U.S. Navy retired, 62, of the 3300 block of Lilac Drive, died Sept. 3, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mr. Donlan was born in New York, N.Y., and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Haynie Donlan; two daughters, Mildred Clare Donlan of Germany, and Kathleen Bascoe of Baltimore, Md.; two sons, Michael Patrick Donlan of Glen Burnie, Md., and James Granville of Laurel, Md.; two sisters, Justine Rossi and Joan Donlan, both of New York, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by Father Joseph Slowick. A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
