Gladys Mae Elliott, 85, of the 400 block of Meander Road, died Sept. 4, 1995.
She was a housekeeper for Foster Funeral Home. She was born in Nansemond County, Va., and was a member of Little Grove Baptist Church, Suffolk.
She is survived by two sons, Max J. Elliott Blount and Milton Roy Blount; two grandsons, Max Elliott and Jermaine Elliott Blount; one daughter-in-law, Tina Elliott Blount; and a host of cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Ralph Richardson in Little Grove Baptist Church, Suffolk. Burial will be in Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Portsmouth. The family will receive friends at 417 Lamp Post Drive, Chesapeake, Va., and will assemble there for the procession. Fisher Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
