Edward A. Weiland, 79, of the 900 block of 24th St., died Sept. 5, 1995.
He was born in Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma; one son, Joseph; one sister, and his parents Albert and Amielia Weiland Sr.
Mr. Weiland was a retired, self-employed carpenter, and was a Catholic by faith.
He is survived by two sons, William A. Weiland of Virginia Beach, Edward A. Weiland Jr. of York, Pa.; four sisters; four brothers; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9, 1995, in Conneaut Lake, Pa. The place of burial is Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
