Alice Goodman, who was born on Aug. 12, 1900, in Berkeley, Va., lived most of her life in Norfolk, and had been a 12-year resident of Lexington, Ky., passed away Monday evening, Aug. 14, 1995, two days after celebrating her 95th birthday.
Miss Goodman was fond of relating how she had been a ``yeomanette'' and worked as a stenographer at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital during World War I. Miss Goodman retired many years later from the U.S. Civil Service and the Department of the Navy.
Miss Goodman is survived by a niece and three nephews including Frances Goodman Fenn of Elkton, Ore., Max Goodman of Pensacola, Fla., and John C. Wolff Jr. of Lexington, Ky.
