Douglas Joel Willie, of 5800 West Hasting Court, died Sept. 5, 1995.
He was born in Princess Anne County and was a member of the United House of Prayer For all People. He was also a member of the Madison Senior Shout Band. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice H. and Nathaniel Willie Sr.
He is survived by one sister, Meloney Willie of Virginia Beach; six brothers, Jerry McCant, Norman Harold, and Lawrence Willie, all of Virginia Beach, Nathaniel Willie Jr. and Matthew Willie Sr., both of Norfolk, and Randy Willie of Chesapeake; and a special friend, Carlene McPherson, and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday in United House of Prayer For all People, Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, by Apostle Curtis Sutton. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
