FRED E. LIPE

Fred Earl Lipe, 75, of the 400 block of Parker Road, died Sept. 4, 1995.

Mr. Lipe was a native of Spartanburg County, S.C., and the son of the late Orville Monroe and Myrtle Sue Bright Lipe. He was a retired employee of Borden Chemical Company, and a veteran of World War II, U.S. Navy. He was a member of South Norfolk Masonic Lodge, Chesapeake.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Forbes of Chesapeake; five sisters, Reba Bruce and Helen Wright, both of Lyman S.C., Pauline Boling of Hartwell, Ga., Carrol Fincher of Duncan, S.C., Ruth Cash of Chesnee, S.C.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The Wood Mortuary, Greer, S.C., was in charge.
