Virgie Davis Waterfield, 92, of the 5800 block of Walker Road and formerly of 542 Woodford St., Norfolk, died Sept. 6, 1995.
She was a native of Ransomville, N.C., and was the widow of Earl L. Waterfield Sr. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Earl L. Waterfield Jr. of Hamet, Calif.; one brother, Heber C. Davis of Norfolk; two grandchildren; a niece, Marilyn D. Hussey of Virginia Beach, with whom Mrs. Waterfield resided; as well as other nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery bu the Rev. Frances Truitt Moody. The family will be at the residence today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donationa may be made to the Kempsville Rescue Squad, Virginia Beach. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
