I wonder how long it will be before the elephants come to Harbor Park? Baseball is not a priority of the ownership of the Norfolk Tides.
I attended the last regular game of the season and was submitted to slaps on the head and kicks in the legs by uncontrollable children who ran down to the dugout (where most season-ticket holders sit) to watch the latest circus attraction. Next season the team will probably wear clown uniforms.
If the ownership wants to entertain unruly children, it should be done away from the playing field.
Season-ticket holders account for one-third of the attendance record. They come to Harbor Park to watch baseball. All I want is to be able to sit in the seat I paid for (without moving someone who has a ticket in the reserved section) and to watch a baseball game.
