William Ferrell ``Bill'' Twigg Sr. of Smithfield, N.C., died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 1995, at MCV Hospital in Richmond after a long illness.
Bill graduated from Cradock High School in 1956 and served in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division. He received an Associate Degree in Accounting from Johnston Community College. He was retired from McDonald's in Smithfield, N.C.
He is survived by his fiancee, Grace Virginia Blow Nelson of Richmond; one son, William F. Twigg Jr.; two daughters, Debra Lynn Henderson and Sandra Kay Gibbs, all of Smithfield; sisters, Nita Mae Reagan of Chesapeake, Joyce Walters of Smithfield and Patricia Hinton of Micro, N.C.; one brother, Rex Felton Twigg; and five granddaughters.
