Mabel Rose Anthony, 87, of the 800 block of Rugby St., died Sept. 7, 1995, in Hill Haven Convalescent Center.
Mrs. Anthony, the widow of Kinchen Anthony, was born in Norfolk. She was a retired self-employed caterer for over 40 years.
Survivors include one sister, Fannie R. Hardy of Norfolk; one sister-in-law, Candace Rose of Litz, Pa.; one niece, Ruth Rose of Norfolk; one nephew, Homer Rose Jr. of Litz; one Goddaughter, Virginia Lewis of Norfolk; one Godson, Edgar Rawles of Suffolk; and many caring friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Hale Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 11:45 a.m. for the service Monday.
